The Mary Street Sessions were recorded by sound engineer and beautiful man Tom Barnes. Over two days, Coops & the Bird, setup in the lounge room of Tom’s home and recorded their song inventory in live takes.

Capturing the dynamics of the duo’s stage performances, Tom Barnes’ focus for the recording was to point good quality microphones at the live performances, dial in balanced volume settings with minimal production and allow the voice and guitar to stand alone.
